I had my Quantum Hypnotherapy session right before the holidays and noticed change right away.
To start with, I had a dream that very night after the session that I thought was quite significant.
In the middle of the dream, both Kate and Alex showed up and stopped things. There was a new system in place and the two of them, working as my allies, were re-directing things, handing out instructions, pointing to the proper place and I was so startled, I woke right up!
I’ve been waking up ever since.
I used to spend a lot of time mulling over the past or worrying about the future.
Kate wisely pointed out that I was missing out on a real gift -- The Present.
Of the manifestations of not living in The Present, the most distressing is what was going on with my body.
My body has been dragging around extra weight in a false attempt to anchor me and pull be back to the Now. And yet, I was unaware of the weight. I didn’t feel the lumbering form that was fighting to get my attention because my mind was always elsewhere.
Kate and Alex lovingly gave me the tools that have enabled me to get re-acquainted with my physical form. I love my body but hate what I’ve done to it. I find that I am focusing on taking care of myself as I was never able to before.
It’s as though my session was a moment where a tuning fork was struck and I’ve been bringing my life, myself, my very being into harmony with that session ever since.

Katie, The first words that come to mind after reading your new book’s chapter list are: Inspiring, Empowering, Funny, Truthful, Smart, and Informative.
Things I think I will learn from this book just by looking at the chapter titles: 1. Getting rid of my fear. 2. I must love myself before anyone else will. 3. I must be smart, this is art, but it’s still a business. 4. I’m OK just the way I am. 5. I need to embrace who I am and be ready for the world to do so too. 6. I have to be fiscally responsible. 7. I don’t have to freak out because I’m not where I thought I’d be at this age.
I think the title is AMAZING. I think it speaks to all actors. I remember in Reese Witherspoon’s Oscar speech she quoted June Carter who said people would ask June "how she was doing today" and June would say "I’m just trying to matter". I think that’s so true of actors. We just want to have our voices heard, have our work seen, feel that we are somebody. NO actor wants to be anonymous! I think this book could be so powerful. It can let actors know that there is one thing we DO have control over in this crazy business - OURSELVES! We spend so much time trying to mutate ourselves to fit every role and every part, but do we really know who we are? That’s the first step.
Years ago Mark Teschner gave me the most valuable sentence that any acting coach has ever given me. He said "remember that you are enough". It’s stuck with me for gosh, over 10 years now and that one sentence gave me my power back. I had given my power away to every coach and casting director who said you aren’t tall enough, or pretty enough, or thin enough or this enough or that enough and then I realized....WRONG folks! I AM ENOUGH!!!! I wish I had read a book like yours so many years ago. I think this is going to be groundbreaking and something very special in the lives of actors!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Kate, Well, I fly off tomorrow for good old New Zealand. I had another good episode of "That’s So Raven," and I’m pleased that I stayed. I feel that the extra experience was great for learning about how to work on my performance and just to see more angles about what it means to be a regular on a show. I have had an awesome year, and I’m really excited about the one coming. Things are going to change even more for me and I’m busy welcoming and creating that the closer it gets. Having that keeps my soul alive and there is no single thing that gives me the thrill that acting does. Dear Katie, I know how much you appreciate complete honesty, so here it is: I will speak from my heart :) I wanted to express my deepest appreciation for your wonderful insights, encouraging words, and warm spirit.
