Nigeria - Managing Malaria

Malaria remains the number one killer of pregnant women and children under five in many parts of Africa. The World Health Organization’s Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) is empowering local communities in Nigeria to provide the essential diagnostics and care that can save lives in remote and isolated areas where access to fully equipped treatment centres remains limited.
